Naples, Italy - Adm. James G. Foggo III, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, stands alongside Campania Region President Vincenzo De Luca and U.S. Consul General Mary Avery during a press event at Ospedale del Mare to present the second of three U.S. Navy donations of medical equipment and supplies to local Italian communities, June 25, 2020. U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, is partnering with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency’s (DSCA) Humanitarian Assistance Program and the US Mission in Italy to provide critical medical equipment and supplies to local hospitals in Naples, Gaeta, and Sicily to replenish stocks depleted after heavy demand during the COVID pandemic.
