Allies and partners gather for Combined Force Maritime Component Commander (CFMCC) Course in Naples, Italy

European leaders met at Naval Support Activity Naples to discuss regional maritime security during the week-long 2022 Combined Force Maritime Component Commander (CFMCC) Flag Course, co-hosted by the Naval War College and U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa (NAVEUR-NAVAF). The CFMCC course, facilitated by NAVEUR-NAVAF, is designed to improve the effectiveness of senior leaders who will likely work together in a multinational environment. NAVEUR-NAVAF, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests, security and stability in Europe and Africa.

ARCTIC OCEAN (May 5, 2020) The Type-23 Duke-class frigate HMS Kent (F78), the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80), the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78), the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75), and USNS Supply (T-AOE-6) conduct a photo exercise (PHOTOEX) while conducting joint operations to ensure maritime security in the Arctic Ocean, May 5, 2020.
