As we begin to celebrate Thanksgiving 2009, I want to commend you for your selfless service and sacrifice in preserving our freedoms and defending peace around the world. Even as friends and family back home are reflecting on blessings, they know that your service helps ensure their security. You preserve our liberty and way of life. I wish every Servicemember and Civilian, and their families, on the Naval Forces Europe - Naval Forces Africa - 6th Fleet Team a joyous and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
