USS Porter Arrives in Cherbourg, France
The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) arrived in Cherbourg, France, April 7, 2018, for a scheduled port visit to enhance U.S.-France relations as the two nations work together to strengthen regional security and stability.

The opportunity to experience the rich history of this area proves that our alliance with France has been ever present and will continue in years to come.
