KIEL, GERMANY - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS James E. Williams (DDG 95) departed Kiel, Germany on June 21, 2017, after completing a scheduled port visit following the conclusion of exercise BALTOPS 2017.

BALTOPS 17 to set sail in June

(25 May 2017) OEIRAS, Portugal- The 45th edition of Exercise BALTIC OPERATIONS (BALTOPS) will take place in the Baltic Sea from 1 to 16 June. Air, maritime, and ground assets from several NATO Allies and Partner Nations will be involved in the live training event that sets sail from Szczecin, Poland and finishes in Kiel, Germany.

Mount Whitney Returns from Successful Underway

GAETA, Italy – The U.S. 6th Fleet command and control ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) arrived in Gaeta, Italy, July 30, 2016 after completing BALTOPS 2016 with their NATO counterparts.
