ATLANTIC OCEAN - The John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group (JCSCSG), which is comprised of the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) and guided missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53), departed the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations after conducting maritime security operations in the region, May 8. The John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group (JCSCSG) is deployed in support of maritime security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
