MEDITERRANEAN SEA - Rear Adm. Shawn E. Duane, vice commander of U.S. Sixth Fleet, rides in an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, assigned to the “Ghost Riders” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28, to engage ashore with West African naval leaders during exercise Obangame Express 2018. HSC-28 conducted flight operations with the Blue Ridge-class command and control ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) near the Gulf of Guinea, March 24, 2018. Mount Whitney, forward-deployed to Gaeta, Italy, operates with a combined crew of U.S. Navy Sailors and Military Sealift Command civil service mariners.
