REP (MUS) 19 - 190920-N-UN744-1024 - TROIA, Portugal (Sept. 20, 2019) - Lt. Michele Gargiulo, officer in charge of the Remote Environmental Measuring Units (REMUS) Team from Italian Mine Countermeasures Forces Command, points out different aspects of an Italian Navy's unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) to Capt. Curtis Larson, commander of U.S. Naval Expeditionary Task Force Europe and Africa (CTF 68), at the NATO experimentation exercise Recognized Environmental Picture augmented by Maritime Unmanned Systems REP (MUS) in Troia, Portugal, Sept. 20, 2019. The REP (MUS) multinational maritime unmanned systems exercise hosted by the Portuguese Navy is aimed at enhancing interoperability and working relationships between NATO countries utilizing emerging maritime technologies.
