NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN - 191021-N-BM428-0436 NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 21, 2019) Information System Technician 3rd Class Isaiah Salcido paints the bullnose of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) blue in Navy tradition during the Bluenose ceremony held aboard the ship, Oct. 21, 2019. When a ship crosses into the Arctic Circle the crew become Bluenoses in Navy Tradition. Donald Cook, forward deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its ninth patrol in the U.S. 6th fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
