NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN - 191021-N-BM428-0002 NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 21, 2019) Sailors stationed aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) pose for a photo while in their costumes for the Bluenose ceremony the ship was performing, Oct 21, 2019. When a ship crosses into the Arctic Circle the crew become Bluenoses in Navy Tradition. Donald Cook, forward deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its ninth patrol in the U.S. 6th fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
