MEDITERRANEAN SEA - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Ross (DDG 71) and USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) transit the Mediterranean Sea as a helicopter assigned to the French horizon-class frigate Chevalier Paul (D 621) flies overhead Sept. 3, 2018. Ross and Churchill are currently underway in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners as well as U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
