TALIOUINE, Morocco - 220731-N-NO901-0001 TALIOUINE, Morocco (July 31, 2022) – U.S. Navy Seabees, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 133, U.S. Marine Corps engineers from 8th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB), and Royal Moroccan Army engineers work together in support of an Engineering Civic Action Project (ENCAP) in support of Exercise African Lion 22 (AL22) in Taliouine, Morocco. African Lion 2022 is U.S. Africa Command's largest annual exercise hosted by Morocco, Ghana, Senegal and Tunisia, June 6 - 30. More than 7,500 participants from 12 nations and NATO trained together with a focus on enhancing readiness for U.S. and partner nation forces. AL22 was a joint all-domain, multi-component and multinational exercise, employing a full array of mission capabilities with the goal to strengthen interoperability among participants and set the theater for strategic access.
