Ethan Reber, commanding officer of the guided-missile destroyer USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51), gives remarks during the ship's change of command ceremony onboard Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota, Spain, Dec. 19, 2024. As the "Gateway to the Mediterranean,” NAVSTA Rota provides U.S, NATO and allied forces a strategic hub for operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
