By Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Will Hardy

The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG-74) arrived in Limassol, Cyprus, Feb. 13, 2019 for a scheduled port visit.

During the port visit, the crew of McFaul will have the opportunity to visit local museums, shop in Cypriot stores and participate in a community relations event helping the local residents.

“The McFaul is very happy to visit Limassol,” said Cmdr. Janet Days, commanding officer of McFaul. “The crew is looking forward to enjoying the numerous museums, shops, sandy beaches and restaurants to sample the local cuisine.”

There will also be plenty of activities to do while the McFaul is in port.

“The crew will also be able to enjoy multiple tours allowing exposure to art, culture and the local population,” said Days.
