USS Thomas Hudner Concludes Port Visit in Souda Bay

The Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyer USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116), an element of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group (IKE CSG), conducted a three-day scheduled port visit to Souda Bay, Greece, May 24, 2021.

 

While this was a working port visit, crew members had an opportunity to rest and unwind and were in full compliance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Defense (DOD) and host nation COVID-19 mitigation measures.

 

“Our crew very much enjoyed our port visit in Souda Bay,” said Cmdr. Bo Mancuso, commanding officer, USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116). “We are excited to work with our NATO Allies as we continue our deployment here in U.S. Sixth Fleet.”
