6th Fleet Ships, Aircraft Conduct a Photo Exercise with the Italian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea
MEDITERRANEAN SEA - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Porter (DDG 78), USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) and Supply-class fast combat support ship USNS Supply (T-AOE-6) transit in formation, April 23. The ships and aircraft are forward deployed to U.S. 6th Fleet. VP-4 is assigned to Commander, Task Force 67, responsible for tactical control of deployed maritime patrol and reconnaissance squadrons throughout Europe and Africa.
