KIEL, Germany - 210618-N-NO901-0226 KIEL BAY, Germany, (June 18, 2021) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Roosevelt (DDG 80), and USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116), nest in Kiel Bay, Germany, after completing exercise BALTOPS 50. BALTOPS 50 is an annual international maritime-led joint exercise including 16 NATO allies and 2 partner nations demonstrating the ability of the alliance to contribute to deterring and if required defeating aggression.
