ENGLISH CHANNEL - 191002-N-BM428-0436 ENGLISH CHANNEL (Oct. 2, 2019) Sailors heave a line on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) during a Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST) towing exercise, Oct. 2, 2019. FOST is a three-week exercise led by the Royal Navy that tests the ships warfighting ability. Donald Cook, forward deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its ninth patrol in the U.S. 6th fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
