BIZERTE, Tunisia - (June 7, 2022) Left to right, School Director Amel Glai, U.S. Navy Lt. j.g. Ramses Carranza, and Tunisian Navy CAPT Naimi Hassen, break ground during a ceremony to mark the start of the construction of a new 130 square meter, two-room kindergarten building with a bathroom at the local elementary school in Bizerte, Tunisia on June 7, 2022. Phoenix Express 22, conducted by U.S. Naval Forces Africa, is a maritime exercise designed to improve cooperation among participating nations in order to increase maritime safety and security in the Mediterranean.
