In addition to the Turku concert, the five-day visit will include concerts at the Help Center for Ukrainians, Kauniala Veteran’s Hospital, Vaskivuori High School, Marjatta Schools, and U.S. Embassy to Finland, as well as workshops with students from Vaskivuori High School. U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa operates U.S. naval forces in the U.S. European Command (USEUCOM) and U.S. Africa Command (USAFRICOM) areas of responsibility. U.S. 6th Fleet is permanently assigned to NAVEUR-NAVAF, and employs maritime forces through the full spectrum of joint and naval operations.

CTF-63 Welcomes USNS Trenton (T-EPF 5) Arrival in Naples

The Military Sealift Command’s expeditionary fast transport ship, USNS Trenton (EPF 5) was docked in Gaeta, Italy, earlier this month dropping off members of the military detachment and making preparations for the shipyard. The crew of the Trenton provided two educational tours for members of the Department of Defense Education Activity while in port. Teachers, faculty, students and members of the Naples High School Junior Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps unit all had an opportunity to see the Trenton and interact with the crew. In total, the Trenton hosted more than 200 visitors.
