NORMANDY, France - 190606-N-WO404-799 NORMANDY, France (June 6, 2019) Charles, Prince of Wales, departs the Cathedral of Our Lady of Bayeux in Normandy, France, after a Royal British Legion Service of Remembrance June 6, 2019. More than 1,300 U.S. Service Members, partnered with 950 troops from across Europe and Canada, have converged in northwestern France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Operation Overlord, the WWII Allied Invasion of Normandy, commonly known as D-Day.
